Flat-top tower cranes have no apex, which makes the crane more versatile when dealing with height restrictions in applications such as airports or power plants, or when two cranes are slewing around each other. Its modular design allows for quick and easy assembly and disassembly, reducing setup time and overall project cost. Another attractive feature of a flat-top crane is that it allows for pre-assembly and direct installation of the jib. As with many other types of cranes, the jib must be assembled separately on-site.
